The incumbent orients patrons to library services primarily during afternoon and evening hours at the Circulation Desk, including when a supervisor is not available to provide immediate support.

The work involves maintaining user accounts and assisting with materials borrowing, finding and retrieving information, computer and technology services, and meeting room reservations.

The person must exhibit good judgment, be prepared to make decisions independently, and model a collegial, team-based approach to work.
