Weare hiringone (1)Full Time Temporary Labourer position working out of Canmore, Alberta for up to four months.

The Labourer is accountable for seasonal hydrant, drywell, catch basins inspection and service. This includes achieving incident free work and proven service quality to meet contractual key performance indicators with time spans of up to 4 months.

What you’d be responsible for

  • Following all health and safety policies and requirements and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Conducting documented seasonal drywell inspections and servicing
  • Conducting documented seasonal catch basin inspections and servicing
  • Conducting documented seasonal hydrant inspections and servicing
  • Updating and maintaining documentation and logs pertaining to tests and processes
  • Correcting minor operating problems and performing other related duties as required and / or assigned
  • Ability to work independently under broad supervision
  • Timely communication with Supervisor on any issues when working independently
  • Demonstrating a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented, easy to do business with manner of working

What’s required to be successful

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's License) - a Driver Abstract will be required
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Clearance on pre-placement medical and drug and alcohol testing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
  • The successful candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada

The successful candidates will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate strong initiative.

Our best candidates will also possess developed analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team dynamic.
