Job Description

FLINT is seeking a talented Journerperson, Millwright, to become a valuable addition to our team at our client site in Port Moody.

In this maintenance position, your primary responsibilities will be to inspect, assemble, and maintain machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.

Please note this is a permanent position that is local to the Greater Vancouver Area residence and will not offer LOA or Travel Pay.

What would you be doing?

• Read diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings to ensure precise tolerances.
• Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments.
• Assemble all machinery and equipment by bolting, welding, riveting, or fastening them to pre-built foundations.
• Perform preventative maintenance once the machines and equipment are put into operation.
• Complete all paperwork as required.

Does this sound like you?

• Journeyperson Millwright certificate
• DSP (DIRECT SERVICE PROVIDER) or Contractor Options Available.
• 2 or more years of experience working in Maintenance
• Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
