Position Title : Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)

Compensation : Starting at $ per hour

Work Shift : Full-Time 5 and 2 shifts (Day Shifts Only)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Edmonton-based shop. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, maintaining a fleet of modern highway motorcoaches, site service vehicles, and shuttles.

Responsibilities :

• Perform maintenance and repairs on motor coaches
• Conduct CVSA inspections
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns
• Supervise apprentices

Qualifications :

• Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer technology trends within the service industry, including diagnostic programs and service manuals
• Capacity to develop innovative solutions and techniques for new or different equipment
• Maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation
• Ability to obtain clearance for :
• Driving record check (abstract)
• Physical Demands Analysis (PDA)
• Drug & Alcohol Test (DNA)
• Criminal record check

Education and Certifications :

• Certified Heavy Equipment Technician (recognized in Canada)
• All certification levels will be considered
• A valid Class 1, 2Q, or 3Q driver’s license is considered an asset
• CVIP Certifications are considered an asset
