We arecurrently recruiting for 5 MILLWRIGHTS for our Thunder Bay ON client.

Millwrights are ofteninvolved in comprehensive industrial and mechanical projects. Basicmillwright skills include installation maintenanceand repair of industrial machinery and equipment .

Using specialized tools such as welders or hydraulic bolters theyalign and replace a machines individualparts.

JOBDESCRIPTION :

As a Millwright youare responsible for the installation maintenance and repair andtroubleshooting of stationary grain industrial machinery andmechanical equipment.

Complete regularpreventive maintenance on all mechanical equipment according toestablished schedules codes andprocedures.

Troubleshoot fabricate repair andinstall mechanical equipment / parts in accordance with establishedprocedures.

Provide assistance to otherMaintenance and Electrical team members whenrequired.

Operate in accordance with healthsafety and fire prevention regulations andpractices.

Perform proper alignments withinindustry set standards.

Use plasma cutting tooland weldingequipment.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Abilityto read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine workprocedures.
• Experience with conveyor materialhandling equipment grain handled and processing equipment is anasset.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills andquality of work initiatives.
• Solidunderstanding of welding (TIG MIG ARC Plasma Torch) rigging (properhand signals load balancing) and mobile equipmentoperation.
• A minimum of three (3) yearsexperience in an industrial setting or comparable service work inthe industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge ofindustrial elevator and cleaning systems.
• Mustbe a certified Journeyman with Trades Qualification orInterprovincial certification under the Red SealProgram.
• Equivalent combinations of educationand experience that result in the required level of knowledge skilland competence will beconsidered.

WORKCONDITIONS :

• Schedule : Weekly rotation of day shifts and evening shifts. Monday to Friday.Day shift is 8 AM to 4 PM and evening shift is 4 PM to 12AM
