Due to recent growth we are seeking an ambitious Commerce graduate who will learn both our business as well as our clients’ businesses by starting out as a Technical Support Analyst for our Software Support Team in the Construction Division.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Jonas is seeking a Software installer. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of software, hardware and networks.

They will be able to apply their knowledge to effectively communicate with customers, prospects and internal staff to get Jonas properly installed.

Report to the Team Lead for daily direction and the Manager, PS for administration :

Quality of Service

• Monitoring, improving and maintaining installations to ensure top quality service
• Being the subject matter expert for all matters related to installations for the company; working closely with the Implementation & Sales teams
• Use listening and problem solving skills to troubleshoot client and prospect issues networking / hardware issues, data integrity issues, permissions, performance issues, procedural processes etc. in a timely manner

Installation

• Installation of all Jonas Construction Products at customer sites
• Write / execute data utility programs, SQL scripts to correct various issues
• Trace software, run SQL queries, review system logs to determine root causes of issues
• Assist with testing of the Construction product

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

• Customer service experience preferably in the software industry an asset
• Knowledge and experience with SQL, Advanced Excel, Database Structure
• Experience with current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Experience with PC networking environments and firewall solutions
• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to problem solve and teach others
• Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills
