A typical day would involve :

• Prepare quotes, provide advice, and offer personal lines, ICBC AutoPlan and Private Auto insurance products and services and where applicable, motor vehicle to both new and existing clients
• Provide referrals for additional products and services offered by Vancity.

Build the business by cross-selling on additional insurance products and services within the agency.

Perform routine administrative elements of the work (e.g. order and organize the ICBC supplies and office supplies, ICBC, batching, deposits and mail distribution, and, where applicable, Driver Licensing services) consistent with agreed upon timelines, regulatory requirements and established standards.

You Have :

• Insurance Level 1 license
• Autoplan Essentials Course
• Valid Drivers License
• A High School Diploma At a minimum, you have graduated high school and / or equivalent
• Customer Service Experience - At least 1 year of working experience interacting with people and businesses in a professional capacity

Bonus Points :

• Level II General Insurance License or working towards it
• Post-secondary coursework

Salary : As this is a union role, the salary will be as per the collective agreement salary grid starting at $23.97 (Grp 2 Step 1)
