The Inside Sales Supervisor - PSS, is a key member of the sales team. You will be responsible for developing and differentiating system proposals that meet the specifications and requirements of our clients in a competitive context.
You will ensure the proper selection of hardware, software, materials, and services from the product and service portfolio of Laurentide Controls, providing maximum added value to our clients while promoting Laurentide's overall business goals.
The proposal team will report to you.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Win mandates by developing winning proposals
- Understand and implement sales strategies
- Create the vision and expand the scope of mandates using the "Solution Selling" approach
- Present and explain proposals to clients
- Build strong and lasting business relationships with clients.
- Proactively interact with clients and develop trust-based relationships.
- Thoroughly review client specifications and identify ways to meet them.
- Visit factories to gather all necessary information for proposal design while building business and trust with clients.
- Responsible for system proposals and solutions
- Technical reference for our clients and our team
- Understand and effectively communicate the implementation and commissioning of our technology.
- Assist in resolving technical problems that may arise during proposal development.
- Identify risks presented by the proposal and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed and up to date on the latest changes and developments in products, services, and industries.
- Establish and improve the working procedures used by the team.
- Contribute to aligning the operational activities of the internal sales team with the growth strategies of products and services in coordination with stakeholders in the business unit.
- Develop relationships with supplier stakeholders and support their team in establishing these relationships for technical product assistance and delivery times.
- Ensure that all new employees are supported, trained, and guided to succeed in their integration process.
- Regularly meet with team members and involve them in quarterly and annual performance evaluations, as well as career planning discussions.
- Ensure the development, coaching, and adherence of the team members to our CRM.
- Supervise staff to ensure efficiency and quality control.
- Communicate business performance and priorities to the team to ensure they are fully informed.
Requirements :
Ten (10) years of experience in the following areas : commissioning of systems in the factory, quotation creation, sales, project implementation;
or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- In-depth technical knowledge of the DeltaV automation system or other similar systems.
- Business and sales sense
- Computer literacy; proficiency with Microsoft applications (Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
