Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Associate to join our sales team. This position involves helping develop new & maximize existing customer penetration.

The role also includes a heavy focus on developing new customers & geographic markets (within North America), including cold calling new potential clients, client business referrals, and following up on web leads.

The qualified individual will also develop their phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.

Initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Support with management / co-management of existing customer accounts, with specific regional sales teams, will also be a key driver for sales growth in this role.

Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to sales and increase revenue.

Responsibilities :

  • Calling existing customers to help maximize mindshare and share of wallet and cross-sell additional products
  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
  • Understanding client needs and route qualified opportunities to the Territory Manager for further development and closure
  • Help Sales team with the first contact calls / presentations to customers
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, advertising tradeshows, etc.
  • Provide continuous support for Sales team and follow up leads till closure.
  • Craft effective sales pitches for the sales team provide engaging and articulate information about Walter’s value proposition in addition elevator pitches, brochures, flyers, detailed product presentations etc.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in an outbound role.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day (up to 60-100 calls a day)
  • Able to take ownership of leads, and actively systematize the conversion process for maximum effectiveness.
  • Ability to learn and internalize scripts
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Ability to learn and understand company services and its position in the industry
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
  • Strong urge to learn the industry is desirable; prior experience calling into industrial market.

Experience & Education :

Education : College degree or high school diploma combined to relevant working experience.

Pertinent experience :

  • Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience.
  • CRM experience is preferred, and Salesforce experience is a major asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).

Language requirements : Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English); French functional.
