What is the role?
As a Marketing Expert, in partnership with one of the world's largest online advertising and social media platforms, you will work with an existing list of advertising agencies who support various small to medium sized businesses that are currently utilizing online advertising and marketing services on our client's platform.
This is an outbound sales role
with an aim to increase customer investment and / or increase the length of time that a customer will maintain their campaign.
We are helping them to optimize what they are already doing, reach their advertising goals, optimize their budget by understanding what is working, what may not be working for them, and offering advice and implementing solutions to help them potentially see improved results for their advertisers and become more confident in using the platform.
They will spend more money because they may see improved results.
You will contact each customer identified on the list to provide a strategic advertising consultation and capture sales opportunities that include an advertising campaign relevant to their clients goals / needs.
We look to develop a relationship with the agency / advertiser over several calls throughout the quarter. The requirement is to contact all customers provided on the list and set up multiple calls with them to build a relationship and to better understand and help them achieve their goals.
Day to Day
Fast paced, busy, productivity is key element success. Expectation is being on the phone most of the day making outbound calls.
You must have a good level of computer and technical skills and be able to multi-task using multiple windows especially when talking and dealing with your clients.
Proactive outreach (cold calling) from your list of agencies / advertisers and pitching to the perspective client and engage them into wanting to set up a full value call with you.
This can be repetitive work as you may not always reach the client on the first, second or even multiple calls.
Goal is to have + full value calls scheduled per day with advertisers, each one of these calls lasting about - min.
Time spent in between your full value calls will be doing :
Develop expert working knowledge of Social Media advertising solutions (including measurement) and what impacts performance, identify trends and solve problems Share ideas to improve ad products and the customer experience Exhibit curiosity by actively teaching self and others.
Staying updated on industry trends and competitors to position our advertising solution effectively in the market You will be responsible for speaking with decision-makers over the phone to increase the value of their online advertisements through optimization;
with an aim to increase customer investment and / or increase the length of time that a customer will maintain their campaign.
Help them optimize what they are already running, reach their advertising goals, optimize their budget by understanding what is working, and offering advice by implementing solutions to help them see improved results and become more confident in using the platform.
Triage Support Issues of clients while still maintaining a strong relationship and meeting customers' needs consistently.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior inside sales experience with emphasis on both outbound and inbound calling Prior quota-based sales experience with sales impact on performance, quota attainment, and promotion Interest in expanding industry / vertical knowledge through training and certifications Commitment to in-depth, structured sales training and processes Flexible and quick learner, able to adapt to continuously evolving needs to help clients grow their business on the advertising platform.
Highly motivated with strong attention to detail and follow-through, eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
