Our business unit based in Hamilton , specialized in Industrial Cleaning , is looking for an Health and Safety Coordinator for a full-time permanent position.

What you have to do :

• Regular field visits to business units and various work sites (70% of working time in the field).
• Participate in and ensure the application of current OHS regulations, procedures and work instructions on work sites and business units.
• Assist staff in identifying existing or potential risks and help them implement preventive or corrective measures / actions and OHS indicators.
• Participate in investigations and detailed analyses of events, inspections, and audits.

Description du profil

Do you have a degree in a relevant discipline (OHS, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, etc.) and at least 3 years' experience in prevention and field intervention in a unionized industrial environment?

Do you have a sound knowledge of current health and safety legislation and regulations?

Do you have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills?

Are you dynamic, autonomous, persevering, with a keen sense of organization and a team spirit?

Do you have good computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)?

Do you have a valid driver's license and are you available to travel regularly on site?
