The Job!

Reporting to the Director of IT Services, you are instrumental to the success of the business with your expertise in troubleshooting and resolving IT problems. You will :

  • Manage IT support requests via phone, email, or chat
  • Diagnose and resolve various hardware, software, and / or network issues
  • Resolve issues either on site or remotely as needed
  • Follow-up and confirm resolution of noted problems or concerns
  • Configure laptop and desktop computers with necessary hardware
  • Set up users’ accounts, devices, and VPNs required for theirwork
  • Manage users and access control in alignment with company policies
  • Conduct software installation and troubleshootingSupport users with Windows OS and MS Office / 365 applications
  • Assist with phones, virtual meetings, and audio / video needs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and training content on relevant IT matters
  • Provide training and onboarding for users and clients as required
  • Support various IT projects
  • Other tasks as assigned

You are dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. You also have the following qualities :

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Help Desk role, supporting end users
  • Strong working technical knowledge of hardware, software, and office equipment
  • Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Windows operating systems, Azure, MS Office / Office 365, and standard office equipment (phones, printers, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of network protocols and services, on-prem support, and remote user assistance
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and within a team
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills as well as good time management
