The Health Care Aide / Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Medication Assist / Reminders
• Ambulation
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation / Charting

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide / Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
• Current CPR / First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory
• Up to date COVID, Flu Shots, Vaccinations
• Access to Internet / mobile phone
