Harvest Cellar Hand (SEASONAL)

Quails’ Gate Winery is currently seeking hardworking, passionate Harvest Cellar Hands for the upcoming 2024 vintage. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and nurture your passion for winemaking.

At Quails’ Gate, we believe in providing a quality experience whether you are visiting us or working with us. As a Harvest Cellar Hand, you will follow the processing of the grapes right from when we receive fruit to pressing, destemming, pump overs, punch downs, fermentation monitoring, barrel work, forklift operation, and more.

About you :

• Hard-working and possess excellent attention to detail
• Passionate about your craft and eager to learn and advance your career
• Good communicator and possess good time management and organizational skills
• Thrive working as a team

Requirements :

• Previous cellar experience or winemaking education an asset
• Ability to perform the physical demands of cellar work such as bending, stooping, twisting, pushing pulling, climbing ladders
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
• You have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work under pressure in an efficient and safe manner

Pay :

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
