Greenhouse Worker (Temporary) #VSR2206 About Our Client Located in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake, our client grows various mushroom species.

If you’re speedy and thrive in a fast paced environment, and have previous experience working in a greenhouse - our client is looking for you! *Please note, some in branch testing will be required should your application go through.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Greenhouse Worker :

• Attention to detail while inspecting individual mushrooms ranging in size from 1 to 4 , ensuring high quality standards are met
• Exceptional hand / eye dexterity and coordination
• Assisting in growing and cultivating various species of mushrooms
• Meticulously packing only the best high quality mushrooms quickly and efficiently in a fast paced team centered environment
• Transporting mushrooms and shipments throughout the large greenhouse facility
• Meeting hourly and daily production targets for most quality mushrooms picked
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in a food safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

What You Should Have, as a Greenhouse Worker :

• Previous 1 year work experience in a production greenhouse environment REQUIRED
• Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 20 - 30 lbs
• Upbeat, enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Speedy accuracy in a fast paced environment
• CSA Green Tab Steel Toe Boots
• Good organizational and communication skills

In Return, You Will Receive :

• $17.00 per hour + 4% Vacation Pay
• Potential for bonuses
• Paid weekly on Fridays

The Shift You Will Be Working is :

• 1st shift (day shift) - Monday to Friday
• Weekend work required
• 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Where You Will Be Working, as a Greenhouse Worker :

• Niagara-on-the-Lake - please only apply if you are in the immediate Niagara Region area (20 KM radius)
• This position is NOT bus accessible personal vehicle is strongly preferred
