General Labour / Flagger

Temp, Part-time, On-call assignment

Location : Kingston Ontario K0H 1M0 Canada

Pay : $20 / hr

Must have safety boots and vehicle to commute to job location

Job Responsibilities

• Work alongside the rest of your team to prep, layout, apply products and operate the required equipment.
• Performs additional various physical duties as assigned.
• Maintains all safety standards.
• Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials weighing up to 50lbs.
• Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the-job training.
• Effectively uses heavy and light equipment, depending on the job.
• Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor.
• Moves tools, equipment, or other materials as directed in plans or by the supervisor.

• Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
• Be willing to work day or night depending on what the job requires.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Maintain a current driver's license & vehicle.

Qualifications / Skills :

• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Attentive to detail and alert to always ensure safety.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :

• High school diploma is an asset.
• Ability to get to and from the worksite located in Elginburg, Ontario, and arrive on time to meet with the crew (we are not located on or near a city bus route)
• Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
• Previous experience in line painting is considered an asset but not necessary.

Safety Boots are a mandatory requirement.

Experience :

Trailering : 1 year (preferred)

Labour : 1 year (preferred)
