Overview : We are seeking a reliable and experienced G Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and / or passengers, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

The role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate a vehicle with a Class G license to transport goods or passengers to designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery / pick-up logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, if required, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules and address any delays or changes.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the appropriate authorities and company management.

Qualifications :

• Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle and resolve minor issues independently.
• Physical ability to lift and carry items as needed (if applicable).

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning tools.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
