Job Description

On behalf of the Employer, we are seeking a passionate and driven Fundraising Coordinator to lead our fundraising initiatives and be responsible for supporting all major fundraising programs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of fundraising techniques.

This role is essential in building relationships with donors, managing fundraising campaigns, and the ability to foster strong community connections with tact.

The successful candidate will have the desire and ambition to make a difference in our community through a non-profit environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, and clients.
  • Manage and coordinate key fundraising campaigns.
  • Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities
  • Manage and support third-party fundraising events.
  • Scheduling venues and developing relationships throughout the community.
  • Prepare raffle applications and reports as required.
  • Record and receipt donations.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics to refine strategies and improve future fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of related experience preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Website and e-newsletter experience
  • Networking capabilities, to come with existing contacts in the community preferred
  • Ability to effectively work with staff, volunteers and donors
  • Experience collecting, handling and recording incoming funds generated through various fundraisers
  • Sound organizational and communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positivity and initiative in day-to-day operations and relationships with stakeholders, donors, staff, volunteers and clients.
