The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Generalist Teacher for Cleardale Colony School.

This position is to commence as soon as possible and continue until June 30, 2025. The initial teaching assignment will include teaching in a multi grade level classroom setting.

Cleardale is a small farming community in the Peace River Country close to the banks of the Peace River. The community is approximately 200 km from Grande Prairie and 80 km from Fort St.

John, British Columbia. Cleardale Colony Hutterite School serves students in grades one through nine.

Qualifications :

Experience and / or knowledge of blended learning teaching pedagogy

Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success

Proven ability to differentiate lessons and assessment to support students’ achievement

Skills :

Strong classroom management skills

Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parent

Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment

An understanding of rural community and culture

Requirements :

Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.

Annual Salary Range :

$ 62,702 to $ 105,996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
