The main duties of this role are to carry out verifications, inspections, service, repairs and maintenance of fire alarm systems installed at our customers’ sites.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of various emergency systems such as emergency lighting etc.

QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in the electronics field or a related discipline, including at least 2-3 years of experience servicing fire alarm systemsExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishA valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean recordC.

F.A.A. registration in Alberta or equivalent is required. (An Alberta Journeyman’s Electrician certificate may be considered an equivalent).

EST 3 or EST 4 certification is preferred.Previous experience maintaining electrical systems would be an asset.Previous experience maintaining Edwards or equivalent fire alarm equipment would be considered an asset.

Previous experience programing and troubleshooting Edwards or equivalent fire alarm equipment would be considered an asset.
