Your role :

Do you enjoy solving technical problems and explaining them to customers? Are you a self-starter who enjoys the independence of working autonomously in a variety of workplaces?

We have the right job for you! You will spend most of your time responding to scheduled and emergency field calls to repair tooling and resolve production issues.

You will report directly to the Field Service Manager.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be in direct contact with the customer as an ambassador for Atlas Copco. Responsiveness to customer demands, and accurate service record keeping are important attributes for this position.

Your main responsibility will be to perform routine service, fix breakdowns, identify faults, and perform major overhauls on our customer's Atlas Copco equipment.

Your role will involve travel to customer sites within Ontario.

To succeed, you will need :

Have a college, university, technical or accredited vocational diploma

Sales and product promotion / demonstration experience

Flexible responsiveness to customer production demands which involves working outside normal working hours

Take ownership of meeting the customer's needs

Familiarity with manufacturing / production or assembly plant working conditions is desirable

Experience servicing Atlas Copco fastening tools, torque theory, and fastening knowledge are an asset

Minimum of 2 years' experience working on pneumatic and DC power tooling in a production environment or equivalent experience

Experience in calibrations and assembly tooling

IT experience with networking or databases

Troubleshooting experience

Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

Valid driver's license
