Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing various meat products according to customer specifications and industry standards.

The butcher will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and knowledge of various cuts of meat.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cut, trim, debone, and prepare various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb, based on customer requests and specifications.
• Grind meat, make sausage, and package products for retail or wholesale distribution.
• Maintain proper inventory of meat products, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Weigh, label, and price cuts of meat according to company standards and customer preferences.
• Monitor and inspect meat for freshness, quality, and appearance, removing any substandard products.
• Use knives, saws, grinders, and other equipment safely and effectively to achieve precise cuts.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cutting area, tools, and equipment according to health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and assisting with custom orders.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers and employees.
