Job Description

The Janitorial Department is responsible for the housekeeping and cleaning of the buildings, grounds and race track area of the Company.

Personnel ensuring cleanliness of all facilities including grandstand and backstretch; grounds (shoveling and parking lot duties).

Duties for the Grandstand will be empty garbage, cleaning washrooms, cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the building, cleaning the restaurant and the Racebook, pick up garbage and cigarette butts at front entrance and in parking lots, shoveling, and salting walkways and any other duties as assigned.

The Paddock duties will include cleaning washrooms, washing floors, cleaning windows, sanitizing, hosing, cleaning drains, cleaning horse stalls, salting, shoveling and other duties as required.

Note heavy lifting will apply.

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule. The hours of work will be based on operational needs.

The successful candidates will possess :

• AGCO Horseperson License Required
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• Must be able to work around the horses
