About the opportunity :
The incumbent's role is to coordinate exceptional sports & entertainment events at the CN Centre, support other events in City venues, and to contribute to the City's reputation for guest service excellence.
The incumbent will coordinate a portfolio encompassing a variety of entertainment events and activities. Acting as an ambassador for the City and its premier event venue, the incumbent ensures that events are produced and supported in a professional and exceptional manner.
Working a variety of hours is required, in response to event demands.
About your background :
You have completed a two-year diploma in sports and entertainment management, marketing management, hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years' related experience and considerable knowledge of various marketing methods.
You must have the ability to problem solve quickly in a dynamic event environment and enhance business opportunities for the venue.
A valid, full privilege Class 5 driver's license is required along with a Police Information Check for offences related to the position.
