We're seeking a driven Environmental Professional to join our dynamic team, working within Alberta or Saskatchewan's upstream and midstream oil and gas industries! With at least 3 years of experience in remediation and reclamation, you'll have the opportunity to lead impactful field programs, conduct on-site investigations, and collaborate with various teams to maintain the highest health and safety standards.

You'll also support Project Managers with critical tasks like environmental assessments and groundwater monitoring, all while embodying FLINT's core values and commitment to ethical excellence.

We're offering a $200-$500 referral bonus for successful referrals, applicable to both internal employees and external individuals if the referral leads to a successful hire for this specific role.

What would you be doing?

  • Lead and coordinate environmental field programs, mentoring less experienced professionals on more extensive and complex projects.
  • Balance fieldwork (up to 60%) and office tasks (40%), collaborating with Project Managers on various environmental tasks.
  • Conduct thorough site investigations, including borehole logging, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and preparing reports.
  • Manage small and large-scale remediation and reclamation projects while performing detailed site assessments and vegetation management.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, landowners, stakeholders, and regulators while providing project management and administrative support.

Does this sound like you?

Holds a Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field; eligible for or possesses a professional designation (.

Agrologist, Biologist, Engineer, Geoscientist).

  • At least 3 years in environmental consulting, with a strong track record in leading environmental assessment and remediation projects, including contractor supervision and sample selection.
  • Experience with light-duty trucks and demonstrated hands-on capability in safely operating them in the field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of provincial environmental regulations, policies, guidelines, and technical documents related to site investigations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies;

vital planning and control abilities in a multi-project, deadline-driven environment, focusing on health and safety practices.
