Position DescriptionKing Alfred Academy is looking for a Latin Teacher for its elementary and high school. The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of Latin and the ability to teach both older and younger students.

For the right applicant, that shows an aptitude for languages, we are willing to help further your Latin knowledge through additional development.

We seek teachers who exemplify the life that we desire our students to live. We want teachers who follow the Lord passionately, who are active members of a church, and who have a biblically formed worldview that they can pass along to their students.

We expect our teachers to have expertise in the subjects they teach, to be able to communicate that information in an engaging and interactive way, and who manage a classroom effectively.

Great teachers are life-long learners. We desire teachers who are continual learners themselves so that they can lead their students by example.
