Whissell is currently looking for The following positions to join our Edmonton / Leduc team. The successful candidate will display high attention to detail as they assist the Operations with various aspects of construction projects.

Reporting to the General Manager, the right candidate will support Whissell’s vision, mission, S.P.I.R.I.T of values, and three daily pillars of Safety, Quality and Efficiency.

• Underground Superintendent
• Rubber Tire Loader operator
• Hoe / Excavator operators
• Mainline Hoe Operator
• Side Hoe Operator
• Dozer Operator
• Class 1 Lowbed Driver
• Pipelayer
• Pipelayer Helpers
• Top Man
• Labourers
• Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Essential Qualifications :

• 3 or more years of experience
• Underground Utility and Earthworks constructions experience is considered an asset
• High attention to detail required
• Understand and maintain quality and production standards and work to achieve established production goals
• Ensure compliance with all Company policies, OH & S Legislation, and WCB reporting procedures
• Must have your own transportation
• Must have own steel-toes safety boots
• Seasonal, full-time, and weekends
