Our client is a land developer and builder dedicated to creating distinguished communities throughout Ontario. They are looking to hire a Development Planner to add to the team in Vaughan.
Responsibilities
Support various development approvals of low-rise, including Official Plan Amendments, Draft Plan approval, Zoning Bylaw Amendments, Subdivision registration, Site Plan Agreements by working with multi-disciplined consultant teams and various government authorities.
Maintain appropriate records of architectural, landscape, and engineering plans, as well as approvals, permits and agreements for each project.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of project schedules, meeting minutes, proforma and
budgets, cost tracking, and other financial reporting.
Review and consolidate comments on technical reports, drawings, and other consultant work product and coordinate submissions for applications.
Stay current on new industry technologies and trends and municipal standards.
Help build industry and market presence and awareness.
What You Bring
Degree in Planning, Real Estate / Business or Civil Engineering, Architecture
3-5 years of relevant experience in the real estate development industry and / or relevant related
practical experience is desirable.
