MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform professional teeth cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
• Perform visual examinations of the oral cavity to detect dental health problems.
• Take dental x-rays and interpret the results.
• Evaluate the oral health status of patients and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Apply fluoride agents and dental sealants to prevent cavities.
• Perform subgingival scaling treatments to treat gum problems.
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and dietary advice.
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to provide quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Dental hygienist diploma from an accredited school.
• In-depth knowledge of oral anatomy and dental diseases.
• Ability to take and interpret dental x-rays.
• Mastery of dental cleaning, scaling and polishing techniques.
• Good communication skills to interact with patients and provide them with appropriate advice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a dental office.
• Knowledge of hygiene and sterilization regulations and protocols.
• Attention to detail and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS :
