We have an opportunity for a Rail Planner within our Deltaport Rail Planning Department.
This is a unionized position represented by ILWU Local 502.
Reporting to the Manager, Terminal Planning, you will be responsible for the allocation of containers arriving on the terminal via truck, rail, or vessel, in cooperation with other departments using a Terminal Operating System and other tools as required.
The goal of this position is to allocate resources so that productivity and customer service are maximized.

You bring the following knowledge and experience :
High school graduation required and a diploma in Logistics, Transportation or Shipping is preferred.
In addition, you must be able to work assigned shifts and days of the week required to support a 24 / 7 operation. Overtime may be required.
Also, a valid Transportation Security Clearance ( TSC ) is required for this role.
