Intelligent Delivery” of products and solutions to the Industrial, Environmental, and Plastics industries. We currently operate two manufacturing sites in Colborne and Elmira Ontario and have supporting warehouses and sales representatives across Canada and in the Northeastern United States.

Position : Day Shift Assistant

Location : CCC Sulphur Products (Elmira, ON.)

Reports to : Production Supervisor

Primary responsibilities :

• Maintain a high level of safety and environmental standards
• Provide support to operations and maintenance staff as required
• Become proficient and competent in all aspects of site operations
• Adhere to all CCC management systems, quality control policies and TDG regulations
• Uphold 5S housekeeping practices
• Work occasional 12hr shifts for vacation or emergency coverage
• Complete bulk acid loading / unloading into trucks and railcars
• Perform railcar inspections and preparations for loading / unloading and shipping
• Complete packaging depot operations : filling carboys, drums, and totes with acid products
• Operate 50% sulphuric acid system as required
• Accurately complete lab testing and paperwork associated with packaging
• Effectively communicate with customers, contractors, and neighboring facilities as required

Preferred Qualifications :

• Grade 12 High School Diploma
• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment would be an asset
• Valid forklift license would be an asset
• Valid 4

class power engineer ticket or willing to obtain through self-study
