Check Cashing Canada, a leading provider of cheque cashing services, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Customer Service Representative to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cheque cashing processes, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients seeking cheque cashing services.
- Assist clients in completing cheque cashing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform thorough verification of client identification, cheque authenticity, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations and company policies.
- Educate clients on seasonal offers and promotions available in-store.
- Call new and existing customers to inform them about available offers.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and client interactions.
- Handle inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct data reconciliation and perform various administrative duties.
- Be responsible for financial instruments, including cheques and cash.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in cheque cashing services or financial institutions preferred.
- Strong understanding of AML, KYC, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Preference for multilingual candidates fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $19.27-$21.03 per hour (negotiable for the right fit)
Expected hours : 40+ per week
