Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Temporary Summer Student Customer Service Representative . Our sales force focuses on building strong relationships by providing customers with solutions based on product expertise.

Selling our products will require you to go beyond order taking and become a valued customer consultant. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this position responds to customer enquiries, advises customers on technical merit of various mixes and products, receives and inputs concrete orders, determines schedule of deliveries, process order information and other duties as required.

This position will have a tremendous impact on the day to day operations of our business. The position is slated to run from May to August 2025 .

This position is based in Vancouver, BC.

What You’ll Get To Do :

• Order taking and customer service
• Responsible for the efficient distribution of concrete and maximization of load sizes
• Prioritize customers to provide superior service
• Receive customer orders and schedule deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and transportation efficiencies

Who we are looking for :

• Some Post-Secondary education preferred : certification, diploma or degree in progress
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated customer service experience
• Advanced communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong computer skills
• A strong team orientated personality who gets along well with people

Role operates primarily a professional office environment.
