Summary :
Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Customer Service & Shipping Representative based at our Taber facility.
This six-month contract position would serve as support and coverage for the Taber Shipping Office.The incumbent will represent the company in a positive manner, handling customers efficiently and effectively as well as helping manage the traffic and dispatch component of the Warehouse Operations.
We are looking for someone who will :
- Ensure that the appointment schedule is maintained to meet all delivery deadlines.
- Scheduling pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate shipping / receiving to meet customer demand.
- Weigh trucks in and out using the truck scale.
- Communicate with truck drivers in a respectful and professional manner.
- Prepare all logistics related to the delivery of goods by the Lantic truck fleet, while taking into account the Collective Agreement, overtime and cost.
- Prepare delivery orders.
- Prepares necessary documentation (Certificate of Analysis, export / billing documents, etc.).
- Maintain daily reporting and analysis to monitor and anticipate inventory purchases.
- Process credits, returns, and bill out orders as well as receive and process orders, invoicing.
- Maintain control of pending orders, back orders and returns.
- Communicate with all levels within the organization as well as brokers, customs and customers.
- Complete other Duties as assigned.
What you'll need to join the team :
- Education in operations management / logistics / supply chain management / administration or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment (considered an asset).
- Proficient in computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office
- Good keyboard and typing skills.
- Ability to handle a high level of correspondence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to connect and communicate with different personalities.
