Schedule : Monday & Friday 9 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.; Sunday 7 : 30 a.m. to approximately 2 : 00 p.m.
Some Saturdays according to parish events schedule (varies)

Summary
This employee performs a variety of general custodial & maintenance duties for all parish facilities in a professional manner that assures safety, efficiency and procedures followed.
The Custodian fulfills the mission by maintaining a neat, clean, safe, and organized environment. The Custodian assists the staff by ensuring that organization is well maintained for its purpose.
The Custodian has decision making responsibilities within essential job functions, in keeping with organizational policies.
Essential Job Functions
Clean and remove trash from all areas of the Church, including the Sanctuary, Family Room, Adoration Chapel, Sacristy, etc.;
re-organize the pews and missalettes after each Mass, Funeral, Wedding, etc.; restock supplies in the restrooms. Clean all areas of the Parish Hall (Madonna Room) after events are held.
This includes sweeping mopping, removing trash and restock restrooms. Prepare the room for the next event or reset to standard set-up;
this includes moving tables, chairs and meeting equipment, storing tables and chairs as needed.
and changes in environment or decorations for the Church and other facilities.

Possess any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the function of the job.
A high school degree or equivalent required.

Position is part-time with hours dependent on the number of liturgies or other
events scheduled on a particular weekend. Regular hours are Friday and
Monday 9 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.; Sunday hours are : 7 : 30 a.m. to approximately 2 : 00 p.m.; Saturday hours vary and are as needed depending on the number of liturgies or other events scheduled.
Approximately 25 hours per week total.
