Join a dynamic team in the Transportation industry as a Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator ! Our client is on the lookout for a talented professional to enhance their operations in Cambridge, ON.

The Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator manages cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely clearance of goods.

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, utilizing TMS software to optimize fleet operations, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and handling claims and returns.

Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator Details

  • Monday thru Friday (Core hours : 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, with flexibility*)
  • Great Compensation available

Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and customs requirements.
  • Oversee customs documentation for smooth and timely clearance of goods.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize Transportation Management System (TMS) software to optimize fleet operations.
  • Schedule and track pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely transportation.
  • Monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and management.
  • Handle issues related to claims, damages, and returns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Apply knowledge of Section 321 processes for duty-free entry of goods into the U.S. (if applicable).

Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics, focusing on cross-border operations and customs documentation.
  • Proficiency in TMS software, preferably Fleet.
  • Strong understanding of Section 321 and type 86 cross-border shipping processes (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Strong active listening and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
