The Opportunity
Cook I Barrhead Campus, Part Time 0.70FTE 54.25 hours biweekly
Hourly Rate of Pay : $23.61-$28.34
Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and / or Accommodations Manager, the Cook I performs a full range of cooking duties requiring sound judgment and independence involving the safe and efficient use of quantity and quality control techniques while following established procedures and standards, standardized recipes, production sheets, and master menus.
The Cook I maintains a high standard of sanitation in preparing and handling food while coordinating meal production.
Consider applying if you can read, write, and speak English effectively, have three to five years of institutional cooking experience and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Experiences working in healthcare environment and with volume food preparation are considered strong assets.
