Ocean View is a Charitable organization that has been operating since the early 1960’s. We provide a variety of services, predominately for seniors and other folks that need a little extra help in day to day living.

Between in care living and community supports, we proudly serve over 500 individuals each year through our 320+ staff and 100+ volunteers.

Job Summary : To perform and assist in all aspects of the personal care of the residents.

Qualifications :

• Certification as a Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Assistant or Home Health Provider is required
• Nursing experience in a long-term care facility
• Good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work shift work
• Alzheimer and Other Related Dementia Provincial Certificate required
• Demonstrated ability to work with residents with Alzheimer Disease and other related Dementia
• Must provide valid criminal record check and vulnerable record check.

Salary Range : In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View and the Ocean View Local CUPE
