Description

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Job Position Details :

• Position Type : Temporary Contract
• Location : 800 Laval Crescent, Kamloops, BC V2C 5P3
• Hourly Wage : $22.27
• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 2 : 00 AM 7 : 00 AM (25 hours / week)
• Contract End Date : January 2025

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks

Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out

Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer

Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles

Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items

Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
