The opportunity :
The Community Care Specialist is a part of the Association Services team reporting directly to the Supervisor, Strategic Initiatives Community Care Team.
Community Care Specialists are responsible for interacting with customers and employees through various communication channels including phone, email, chat and social media, while providing exceptional service and quality experiences.
Community Care Specialists will deliver accurate, timely and effective information as well as process registrations and transactions and complete administrative functions in the YMCA of Simcoe / Muskoka operating systems.
Community Care Specialists act as a liaison between community members and our programs and services, making helpful links between people, resources, ideas and strategic initiatives.
Please note that this is a one year maternity leave contract.
In this role, you will :
Reviews changes, notices and updates regularly to ensure the appropriate resources are being used, and the information communicated is as accurate and up-to-date.

Model appropriate behaviours to staff in line with our Mission, Vision and Values; Establishes rapport and maintains effective relationship-building behaviours with staff and members.
Represents the YMCA and the Association in a professional manner in internal and external forums.
