Job Description

Position required ASAP for Sarnia, ON

Employment Terms : Full-Time, 40hrs / Week, Monday to Friday

• 3 month probationary period (contract)
• Pension and benefits are available after 3-months, pending contract renewal

Hourly wage : $21.00

The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out the following duties, not limited to, Fire and Life Safety Equipment Inspections, Installations, Troubleshooting, Repairs and Maintenance

• Responsibilities Include, but not limited to;
• Completing routine inspections on fire and safety equipment at various Commercial and / or Industrial client locations
• Kitchen Fire System Inspections
• Fire Extinguisher Inspections
• Emergency Light Inspections
• Other various Inspections as required
• Completing inspections thoroughly while being efficient
• Maintaining and organizing paperwork
• Handle incoming sales / service, via email, phone, verbal
• Take direction and handle requests from management
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts and test
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, multi-meters and PPE
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Performs other duties and deliveries as may be required

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license (Class G Preferred)
• Driver’s abstract required upon hiring
• Proven experience working independently as well as working with others
• Proven customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• High School diploma
• Able to read and write in English
