CNG Service Technician 1Location : London, OntarioOverview : As a CNG Service Technician 1, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our CNG fueling equipment.
From inspecting and maintaining electrical and mechanical components to conducting site inspections and documenting all activities, your expertise will contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations.Responsibilities :
- Inspect, maintain, and fine-tune electrical equipment such as wiring, panels, gauges, and controls to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough assessments of mechanical systems including compressors, engines, and valves, making necessary adjustments and repairs as per regulatory requirements.
- Monitor CNG locations and equipment to identify and rectify any anomalies, adhering to quality standards and regulatory protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of fueling locations, performing tasks such as trash disposal, equipment cleaning, and landscaping upkeep.
- Utilize our Field Service Automation (FSA) software to document all activities, work orders, and recommendations accurately.
- Assist in the installation, removal, and modification of fueling equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Drive to various company sites to fulfill job responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
- Uphold workplace health and safety protocols, utilizing protective gear and following established procedures at all times.
- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule, providing support to the local Technician workforce as required.
Requirements :
- Possession of Gas Technician 2 or 3 certification (Ontario) with TSSA Certification RSI or RST.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated experience of 2 to 4 years in a related field, or a combination of relevant education and training.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a willingness to learn new software tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, and lift / move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
