J.D. Irving, Limited, Sawmills Division is currently seeking a Chief Power Engineer to join our leadership team, reporting directly to the Mill Manager.

Qualifications :

• Education Required :
• Trade Certification or Associate's Degree
• 1st Class Power Engineer Certification is required
• Year of Experience Required 7-10 years
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
• The ability to supervise and direct the activities of others
• Experience in drying lumber is an asset

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership of a team of 12 people, Power Engineers and Loader Operators, in the safe and efficient operation
• Maintenance of 9 lumber dry kilns, 3 boilers, boiler plant auxiliaries and material handling
