The Senior Cook works as part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a new, modern, well-equipped commercial kitchen in order to prepare daily nutritious meals while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in eating and prep areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Three (3) years’ related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education training and experience will also be considered.
• Completed Grade 12 along with a recognized twelve (12) month program in cooking.

Requirements

• Food Safe Level 1 and Level 2.
• Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.

Job Information

• Hourly Wage Rate $27.54 $31.61.
• Days of Work Varied, per program needs.
• Shift Time 6 : 00am 6 : 00pm.
• Total Weekly Hours : Vary as per program needs .
• Union BCGEU.

• Benefits This position will receive 10.6% on top of gross earnings in lieu of vacation and statutory holidays.

Candidate upon hire may be eligible to transfer the hours worked with other Community Social Services Agencies under the Retention and Portability memorandum.
