Main Responsibilities :
The purpose of the Casual Secretary is to provide, assign and monitor secretarial / clerical support and services to the school.
Records and stores medication for students, maintains and updates student health information.
Assists with arranging transportation of students including arranging daily pickup and drop offs for off-site events / trips and all required paperwork and reporting
Prepares report card data base creates teacher ’take home’ disks, importing student data and printing report cards
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the School Principal.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent;
At least one (1) year of recent, related work experience
Recruitment Process :
Successful applicants will be invited to participate in our assessment. Sessions for assessment will be held on October 21, 28, and November 12.
Applicants who receive an advanced score on the assessment will be offered an opportunity to interview. Interviews will be taking place in person on November 19 & 20, as well as 26 & 27.
Those who are successful in the interview will have a start date of January 13, 2024.
The mandatory training dates for this position are taking place on January 13 & 20. This onboarding is a requirement for the position and is not offered on a regular basis.
The expectation is that you will be available in person for these dates with paid self-paced virtual training being completed between January 13 - 20.
