We are accepting applications for Casual Educational Assistants in all of our communities. Casual positions are on an on-call as-needed basis.

A certificate or diploma as an Educational Assistant from a recognized post-secondary institution is preferred.

Job Duties :

Support instructional, behavioural and social needs of students

Create and maintain professional and respectful relationships

Provide support to students and teacher

Assist students with skills in the areas of communication and language development

Monitor student conduct and intervene when students engage in challenging behaviour

Assist teacher with implementing programs to meet students' needs

Facilitate and encourage positive interactions between students, staff and the community
