Bush Order is seeking a high school student interested in working with us in the Farm Store one evening a week and every-other Saturday.

The position rotatoes days with another student team member.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual who is interested in expanding customer service skills, learning about our local, Canadian and specialty products, and assist with keeping the Farm Store and Bakery organized and clean.

The role would be to assist with packaging Bush Order products, stocking shelves, working our Square POS system, interacting with customers, following opening and closing procedures, and helping with cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Open Farm Store (Alternating Saturday)
• Close Farm Store (Weekday Evening and Saturday)
• Package products
• Setup products for display
• Operate coffee maker
• Work a Point of Sale system (square)
• Interact with customers in a kind and courteous manner
• Be willing to learn about all our products
• Serve lunch items for takeaway
• Restock / replenish shelves
• Follow closing procedure (sweep, mop, clean, etc.)
• Additional bakery / store tasks as needed

Week 1 Schedule

Friday 4 : 00 pm 6 : 00 pm / 6 : 30 pm

Week 2 Schedule

• Thursday 4 : 00 pm 6 : 00 pm / 6 : 30 pm
• Saturday 9 : 00 am 3 : 00 pm

Hours subject to change based on time of year, popularity, and product.

Bush Order will be shut down from October 13, 2024 November 1, 2024

Qualifications

Student entering workforce and / or student looking for a few hours of work each week with a small local family run business.
