Job Description

Work schedule : to be discussed (must be available 1 weekend out of 2 OR one day every weekend)

Permanent, full-time position

Workplace : 5507 County Rd 90, Utopia, ON L0M 1T0

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Store Manager plays a key role in managing, organizing and planning the daily activities of work teams to ensure the efficiency and quality of operations.

The Branch Manager provides support, training, follow-up and smooth operations to contribute to the success of the branch and ensure that sales targets are met.

He / she works with the various parties involved to optimize and continuously improve processes, and is responsible for achieving the objectives and expectations set by senior management in both production and sales.

Responsibilities :

• Promote a welcoming and safe workplace;
• Apply environmental and Health & Safety rules and procedures;
• Recruit, welcome and integrate new employees;
• Manage, train, develop and motivate the production and customer service team, including quarterly employee performance appraisals;
• Act as an embassador in any organizational change and play an active role in the roll-out to your branch;
• Ensure that excellent customer service is offered to customers.
• Work in conjunction with the various Project Managers (automotive sales, tires and batteries, etc.)
• Actively participate in daily operations, be involved and understand the daily tasks of employees (''Hands on'')
• Maintain and control inventory of vehicles, tires, batteries, catalytic converters, etc.
• Buy and sell used cars
• Ensure local marketing

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in customer service;
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a management role;
• College or university degree;
• Experience in retail or automotive sales is an asset;
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
