We are currently interviewing Break Press Operator to join our team.

Location : Oakville

Pay Rate : up to $28 / hour depending on experience

Shift : Monday to Thursday, afternoons : 2PM to 12am

Benefits : Pension, Medical / Dental, RRSP match and Vision care

Start Date : Immediately

Daily Responsibilities :

  • Must be able to effectively read and interpret blueprints / schematics to perform accurate set-ups
  • Able to interpret precise measuring instruments. (radius gages, vernier, height stand) to check

products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications

Able to set-up machines based on job requirements, using fixtures, backstop adjustments, ram

adjustments etc.

  • Able to make adjustments to programs and tooling to produce quality product
  • Able to load / unload tooling and set-up equipment
  • Must have good communication skills excellent command of the English language
  • Ability to train and mentor new and existing staff in the brake press department
  • Mathematically inclined
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Cincinnati and Pacific brake presses an asset

Education and Experience :

  • High School Diploma good Math and Mechanical Drawing skills.
  • 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with forklift, jib / overhead cranes is an asset
  • Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including

regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.

  • Ability to work safe and independently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Written and oral communication in English.
