We are seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Body Technician to join this hugely successful, fast-growing auto body repair company and restoration services.

As an Auto Body Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition, using your expertise in repairing, refinishing, and customizing automotive bodies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES AS AN AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN :

• Perform thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repairs needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify issues and determine the most effective repair methods.
• Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies, frames, and electrical components; perform vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
• Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of repaired or replaced parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Keep up to date with industry advancements and best practices to enhance your skills and expertise.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers regarding repair status and recommendations.

MUST HAVES :

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician.
• Previous experience and understanding of vehicle structural integrity, alignment, and body repair methods (framework, patching, finishing, etc.)
• Proficiency in using auto body repair tools, welding equipment, and paint application techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Certification / Red Seal Certification in auto body repair or related field is considered an asset.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

• $27.00- $31.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications
